Where Passion Meets Profession

Major: Sport Management

Lycoming College’s sport management program provides students with a strong interdisciplinary foundation spanning business, communication, marketing, data analytics, finance, economics, leadership, psychology, exercise science, anthropology, and sociology. The program challenges students to think critically about the business, culture, and ethics of sports, including the complex issues of gender equity, racial equity, athlete compensation, and leadership opportunities. Students who graduate with a degree in sport management are prepared to contribute to organizations across the sport industry in a variety of roles. Whether a student dreams of a career in sports marketing, front office operations, or non-profit community program management, a major in sport management can help turn that passion into a profession.
