Finance Concentration

If you like working with numbers or spreadsheets, find the stock market intriguing, or like reading about the complexities behind financial decisions, then a concentration in finance is perfect for you.

At Lycoming, business administration majors concentrating in finance examine the current financial practices of both organizations and individuals in a continuously evolving marketplace. The finance concentration is achieved by completing four finance-focused courses within the business track. Lycoming’s finance curriculum focuses on investment theory, entrepreneurial finance, international financial management, and much more. Students will build a foundational knowledge of finance by exploring the complexities of the stock market, financial markets, and financial decisions. The combination of an individualized liberal arts education and numerous internship and study abroad opportunities provides Lycoming’s business graduates with both the knowledge and applied learned experiences necessary to succeed in professional positions with banking institutions, departments of business enterprises, insurance companies, investment companies, and other careers in finance.
