How Financial Aid Works at Lycoming

Financial aid can come from a variety of sources, including Lycoming scholarships and grants, federal and state aid, loans, and student employment opportunities. Every student's situation is different, which is why our team reviews each application individually to help build the most comprehensive aid package possible.

For most students, the process starts with two simple steps:

  1. Apply and be accepted to Lycoming College
  2. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Filing the FAFSA Matters

Even families who don't expect to qualify for need-based aid may still become eligible for grants, federal loans, work-study, and additional institutional assistance.
