Student safety at Lycoming College is a high priority. Our Public Safety team works to develop a trusted partnership with students and their families, along with faculty and staff, to resolve problems and to maintain and improve the safety of our entire campus community. Public Safety officers take an active interest in the life of the student through educational programming, preventative patrol, and upholding the rules and regulations of the College.
The officers, administrators and student aides of the Lycoming College Department of Public Safety are dedicated to providing the highest quality services in order to enhance campus safety, raise personal awareness, reduce the fear of crime, and protect students and their property. Public Safety officers make frequent patrols of campus including residence halls, academic buildings, parking lots, athletic fields, and college owned off-campus residences.
Everyone at Lycoming College is encouraged to be mindful of their own safety and the well-being of others.
