About This Scholarship:

This generous award is a gift from the John E. Morgan Foundation. John E. Morgan (1912-2001) was a lifelong resident of the greater Tamaqua area and a humble entrepreneur whose small sewing factory grew into one of the world’s largest manufacturing companies of thermal knit products in its time. The Foundation now continues his philanthropic legacy helping eastern Pennsylvanians to thrive by providing access to higher education and other services throughout the region.
