Pregnancy and Parenting Support

Pregnant and parenting students are guaranteed equal access to all educational activities and programs, as well as the same accommodations that are available to anyone with a temporary disability.

Reasonable Accommodations

Under Title IX, students are entitled to reasonable accommodations such as housing, absences, class breaks, lactation spaces, and any other accommodations needed (under certain circumstances). Title IX and the Office of Sexual Misconduct Prevention & Response can help students understand their rights and connect them with resources.

Lactation Room Access

At Lycoming College, we strive to make the campus a safe and comfortable place for all of our students and employees. A lactation space is available in the Chapel, but an additional space can be set up if needed. Students or employees who need access to the lactation space or need a space set up may email titleix@lycoming.edu.
