Sexual Misconduct Prevention & Response (OSMPR)

In October of 2023, Lycoming College created the Office of Sexual Misconduct Prevention & Response (OSMPR). OSMPR leads prevention efforts on campus in collaboration with various organizations on campus and in the community. OSMPR coordinates education during First-Year Student Orientation, brings workshops in to the First-Year Seminar Classrooms, educates faculty, staff and student workers on their mandated reporting obligations, does consent education with first-year/new athletes, does risk-management events, Sexual Harassment Training with Wise Interns, is a core member of the Alliance, and is working to expand efforts daily. OSMPR also leads Sexual Misconduct and Sex & Gender-Based Discrimination Investigations and conducts intake meeting when reports are received and implements supportive measures. OSMPR aims to help promote a culture change on campus.
