Fall Check-In Information

We hope the information on this page will assist you in planning your arrival for the 2021-2022 academic year. In addition to the information below, you may want to check the FAQ, Policies and Procedures, Residence Hall Calendar, and the Housing section of our website to find additional important information and answers to questions you may have. Housing Assignment

You can verify your housing assignment* and roommate information in WebAdvisor.

  • WebAdvisor provides your housing assignment, campus mailbox #, and combination as well as the name, address, and telephone number for your roommate(s).
    • New students who did NOT attend an orientation session over the summer will not be able to access this information online but may call the Residential Life or Dean of First-Year Students' Office for their housing information.
    • New student assignments are not posted until ALL orientation sessions are complete, normally the third week in July.
    • For a period of time after the last orientation and until the majority of new student assignments are entered, housing assignment/roommate information (for both new and returning students) will not be available in WebAdvisor.
    • By the end of July, all students (new and returning) who have made the necessary payments and completed the required paperwork should be able to view their housing information.
  • If you have forgotten your password or have a problem logging into WebAdvisor, please contact IT Services at 570-321-4150.
  • If you are still not seeing this information when you log in to WebAdvisor, you should contact the Director of Residential Life at 570-321-4046 as soon as possible.

Basic information regarding room dimensions/housing information is available on the Res Life webpage. Select the "Campus Housing" link on the left sidebar and then select your specific hall from the list at the bottom of the page. New Students

First-year students are expected to arrive and check-in from August 26th - August 29th.

Transfer students will receive a letter from the Dean's Office about check-in (date, time, etc.) and should contact the Dean's Office at 570-321-4358 with any additional questions about check-in.

Returning Students

Upperclass students (both returning and transfer) may check into campus housing on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Sunday, Aug. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Please watch for additional information regarding the check-in protocol.
  • Select offices (including Residential Life) will be open on Saturday, Aug. 28, and Sunday, August 29. See Res Life Office schedule below.
  • Dining Service operates both days according to a regular schedule. See Campus Dining.
  • Students with a balance due will be notified via email during the week of August 16th that they will need to report to the Business Office in Long Hall. If you have questions regarding your student account, please contact the Business Office.

Requests For Early Arrival

Students may not arrive early for personal reasons prior to Saturday, Aug. 28th, and may only arrive before their official check-in dates/times with prior approval. For those who are approved to arrive early for personal reasons, there is a $35.00/night fee charged to the student account.

  • New Students (First Year or Transfer) who have legitimate personal reasons to arrive on campus prior to official check-in (Thursday, Aug. 26) will need to contact the Office of the Dean of First-Year Students. Please do NOT complete the online form.
  • Upperclass students who have legitimate personal reasons (ie. - travel arrangements, family issues) to return prior to official check-in on August 28th must complete an online request for early arrival and receive approval from the Office of Residential Life.
    • You may find this form by logging into myLyco and then going to WebAdvisor.
    • ( FORM OPENS JULY 5th)
      • In your WebAdvisor options, see the "Residential Life" section and look for "Housing Requests".
      • Select "Early Arrival" in the "Housing Type" drop-down.
    • The deadline to submit this form is Monday, August 16 at 12 a.m. (midnight).
    • Be advised, residents who are approved to return early for personal purposes may be charged a $35/day early arrival fee.

Dining Services During Opening Weekend
