To assist young alumni in attending Alumni & Reunion Weekend, we are proud to offer GOLD (graduate of the last decade) pricing for many of our events. On campus housing available for all alumni and their guests. Rooms at local hotels are also available.

The Lycoming College AAEB (alumni association executive board) endeavors to promote the mission and vision of the College to be recognized nationally among the best liberal arts academic institutions. The 32-member board is comprised of alumni from across the decades, and works to support alumni and students, current and future, by developing relationships and opportunities for personal and professional growth, philanthropic spirit, passion for service, and excellence in developing the overall foundation of the college community.

Golf Tournament - Williamsport Country Club, 800 Country Club Drive

Enjoy the Williamsport Country Club’s beautiful course with alumni and friends. The driving range and clubhouse are also open to guests. Lunch, on-course beverages and post-play hors d’oeuvres are provided. A collared shirt is required. Cargo shorts and denim are not permitted. This tournament is a scramble.

$110 per non-member, $70 per member

All alumni and friends are encouraged to check in, enjoy a snack and pick up a nametag and schedule of events. Those staying on-campus may pick up room keys.

The cost to stay on campus is $75 per person, $60 per GOLD (graduate of the last decade).

50th Reunion Campus Tour - Tour leaves from Burchfield Lounge, Wertz Student Center

Members of the Class of 1969 are invited to take a special reunion tour of the Lycoming College Campus.

50th Reunion Dinner and Medallion Presentation - Jane Schultz Room, Wertz Student Center

Members of the Class of 1969 and a guest are invited to a special dinner honoring their Golden Anniversary. President Kent Trachte will present reunion medallions and certificates to the class. Dress is business casual.

This event is complimentary for members of the Class of 1969 and a guest.

Menu: Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato Salad, a Dual Entrée of Braised Beef Short Ribs and Pan Seared Halibut, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Haricot Verts, and Lemon Raspberry Tart. Wine service with dinner. A vegetarian option is available upon request.

Heritage Club Reunion Dinner Mary Lindsay Welch Honors Hall

All alumni who graduated from Lycoming more than 50 years ago are invited to the Heritage Club dinner where we will recognize the 55th, 60th and 65th reunion milestones for the Class of 1964, the Class of 1959, and the Class of 1954. Dress is business casual.

$20 per person, advance registration required

Menu: Mozzarella and Tomato Salad, Pan Seared Halibut, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Haricot Verts, and Lemon Raspberry Tart. Wine service with dinner.  A vegetarian option is available upon request.

All alumni and friends are encouraged to join us for a casual breakfast, after which the AAEB (alumni association executive board) will present this year’s awards. President Kent Trachte will share a Lycoming College welcome and we will reveal reunion awards in a variety of categories including loyalty, participation, unity, and GOLD (graduate of the last decade) unity.

Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 10:15 a.m.

Alumni Class: Home-Brewing Workshop with Zack Farr '07 - East Hall Coffee House

Join Zack Farr ’07 as he demonstrates the home brewing technique that won him the Sam Adams® 2018 Employee Longshot contest. He will spend the day brewing a Belgian-style ale that will spend the summer fermenting before it is bottled, and makes an appearance during Homecoming & Family Weekend 2019! Stop in to enjoy a beer, and learn about the brewing process from a true brew master.

The ACFSL (alumni council for fraternity and sorority life) serves in an advisory role to support and maintain the mission of Lycoming College through the enhancement of fraternity and sorority activity. Members impact active organizations, encourage alumni engagement, and support the quality and character of fraternities and sororities at Lycoming College for students and alumni.

Alumni Class: Wine and Design - Fultz Quadrangle (rain location: Fine Arts Building, formerly the Hilltop Gymnasium)

Spend the afternoon creating a painting of the Clarke Chapel in a unique setting. Canvas, paint, materials and step-by-step instruction provided. BYOB. *Please consider that there is paint involved when choosing your outfit for this event.

Alumni Class: Cupcake Decorating - The Dining Hall, Wertz Student Center

Lycoming’s head baker, Candy, will teach the basics of cupcake decorating with buttercream frosting, including tips and tricks for creating impressive desserts. Then, apply the methods learned during this hands-on workshop on your own cupcakes. All materials, including cupcakes, are provided.

The AAEB (alumni association executive board) presents Lycoming College Jeopardy. Join us for a unique version of the classic game, and learn all kinds of fun facts about our alma mater.

Choir Reunion and Rehearsal - Mary Lindsay Welch Honors Hall

All choir alumni are invited to join in a musical afternoon on campus. We will rehearse selections that will be performed on Sunday morning as part of the worship service at Christ Episcopal Church under the direction of Daniel J. Hall, D.M.A., Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities. Following rehearsal, we will reconnect with friends, share memories from our choir days, and learn about the May 2019 Tour Choir trip to France. Light refreshments will be served. Make plans to be at the signature Alumni & Reunion Weekend event! Enjoy dinner, drinks, and a live band with alumni and friends from all eras.

Menu: Seasonal Salad, Salmon with a Citrus White Balsamic Glaze, Grilled Marinated London Broil topped with a Shallot and Mushroom Sauce, Lemon Gnocchi with Peas and Spinach, Marinated Grilled Vegetables, Tie Die Cupcakes, and Cherry Garcia Brownies.  Beer and wine will be served throughout the evening.

Church Service and Choir Performance - Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry Street

All are invited to join in the worship service at Christ Episcopal Church during which Lycoming Choir Alumni will perform together under the direction of Daniel J. Hall, D.M.A., Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities.

  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

On-Campus Housing is Available!

Live on campus for the weekend in a “single” or pair up with some of your friends to recreate the roommate experience. On-campus housing is available in the newly remodeled Crever Hall and The Douthat Commons. The cost is $75 per person, $60 per GOLD (graduate of the last decade).

On-campus housing is economical, fun and functional, but it offers minimal amenities. Bed linens (fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillowcase), a thermal blanket, bath towel, hand towel and washcloth are provided. You must bring your pillow.

Lamps, nightlights and clothes hangers are not furnished; if you need them, please bring them with you. Beds are extra-long twin size. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We would never room you with a stranger. Please note that checkout time is 11 a.m. on Sunday. All rooms must be vacated by this time, and keys must be returned to Burchfield Lounge before you leave campus.
