Student Film and Video Festival

The Film and Video Arts Program at Lycoming College is pleased to announce the call for submissions to the 15th year of the OnScreen Film Festival (formerly called the Pennsylvania College Student Film and Video Festival).

Category winning films will screen at our live event the AMC in Williamsport, PA on September 29th 2022. All official selections will screen online via our Youtube channel and will be available to view for two weeks from September 30th-October 14th, 2022.

**Please note that both our online and in person AMC screening events are free and open to the public.

Submission Instructions

Please submit via Film Freeway. Not following the submission criteria below will be cause for disqualification.

Awards & Prizes

  • Best Narrative (Undergraduate Only)
  • Best Documentary (Undergraduate Only)
  • Best Experimental or Music Video (Undergraduate Only)
  • Best Animation (Undergraduate Only)
  • Best Graduate Student Film (Any Category)
  • Tom Woodruff Jr. Grand Jury Prize (Limited to Lycoming College Submissions)

Eligibility and Submission Criteria

  • Films must have been made by undergraduate or graduate students during the 20-21 or 21-22 academic years.
  • All genres accepted (see categories above).
  • The Tom Woodruff Jr. Grand Jury Prize will be awarded to the best submission by a Lycoming College student.
  • Run time: 15 minutes or less.
  • Work must have been completed within the last two academic years.
  • Acceptable preview format: Playable link (please include necessary passwords).
  • Accepted films submission format: Downloadable Quicktime files.
  • Each student may submit one film.
  • All music used must have copyright permissions.
  • There is no submission fee.
  • Submissions from previous years are not accepted.
