Moodle is the online course management program used by the college to supplement the traditional classroom learning environment. Faculty members can utilize Moodle to post materials, announcements, grades and more. Since every class is different, use of Moodle varies based upon the course subject, format, and instructor preferences.

Faculty request courses to be put on Moodle before each semester begins. Upon notification that the course is available resources and activities can be added. Faculty can then share the course enrollment key (password) and provide an overview of how Moodle is used for the class with students.

Students access Moodle courses through the myLyco student portal, or they can use the web address and log in using their College network ID and password. To access a course page, a student must first enroll, using the enrollment key provided by the course instructor. This information is usually covered during the first week of class.
