Guest Wi-Fi Access

Guests on campus may use the self-registration feature to gain access to Wi-Fi while visiting campus.

General Instructions

Connect to Lyco-Guest on the device, enter the required information, and click register. Access is good for 3 days, and can be renewed as-needed while visitors are here. See below for detailed instructions based on your device type.


Connection Instructions by Device Type

Windows 10

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi/Networking icon on the bottom right (system tray).
  2. Select the network named “Lyco-Guest”.
  3. A pop-up will automatically come up. Please enter your first name, last name, email address, and reason for visiting/using the Wi-Fi. The other fields are welcome but not necessary.
  4. Click “register.”
  5. You are done. You can close the pop-up.

MacOS

  1. Click on Airport icon in the Menu Bar
  2. Click on “Lyco-Guest”
  3. A pop-up will automatically come up. Please enter your first name, last name, email address, and reason for visiting/using the Wi-Fi. The other fields are welcome but not necessary.
  4. Click “register.”
  5. You are done. You can close the pop-up.

iOS

  1. Tap on the Settings App
  2. Tap on Wi-Fi
  3. Tap on the network named “Lyco-Guest”
  4. A pop-up will automatically come up. Please enter your first name, last name, email address, and reason for visiting/using the Wi-Fi. The other fields are welcome but not necessary.
  5. Click “register.”
  6. You are done. You can close the pop-up.

Android

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen two times to fully open the settings tray
  2. Tap on Wi-Fi
  3. Tap on the network named “Lyco-Guest”
  4. A pop-up will automatically come up. Please enter your first name, last name, email address, and reason for visiting/using the Wi-Fi. The other fields are welcome but not necessary.
  5. Click “register.”
  6. You are done. You can close the pop-up.
