Path to Master’s Degree at University of York

Through a partnership with the University of York in the United Kingdom, Lycoming College is able to offer a direct path to a variety of 12-month master’s degree programs in the areas of Archaeology and Environment and Geography. Admission is guaranteed for Lycoming students who meet York’s admissions requirements, including an undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any field of study.

Lycoming’s archaeology program is one of only a few offered at a liberal arts and sciences college, with a distinctive curriculum designed to provide a breadth of experience both in and out of the classroom. The master’s programs at York enable Lycoming students from any field of study to continue their education with deeper engagement in a specialized area of archaeology. Lycoming students from any disciplinary background may also choose to pursue advanced study through one of York’s interdisciplinary programs in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, among others.
