Faculty Resources

Faculty play an important role in the accommodation process. Specifically, faculty responsibilities involve providing accommodations listed in a student's Accommodation Letter, as well as vocalizing concerns or suggesting alternatives to the Coordinator in a timely manner. In addition, we encourage faculty to include a statement in every syllabus that addresses the process for receiving accessibility resources (see example statement below).

Statement for Syllabus

Lycoming College is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities that impact their learning experience. Please contact Dr. Lakeisha Meyer, Assistant Dean for Academic Services, Director of the Academic Resource Center, and Coordinator of Accessibility Resources to confidentially discuss the disclosure and accommodation process. Dr. Meyer can be reached by calling (570) 321-4050, emailing academicservices@lycoming.edu, or visiting her office on the 3rd floor of Snowden Library.
