Lycoming has a storied history of preparing students for careers in a variety of health profession industries, from allopathic/osteopathic medicine, physical therapy, and optometry to dentistry, pharmacy, and more. Through our Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC), we help students plan their academic pathway and set them up for success in applying for medical school or other professional healthcare programs. Our liberal arts and sciences curriculum enables students to choose the major that most interests them, instead of limiting their studies to a pre-health or pre-med major. The result is a well-rounded graduate who not only has the technical health science skills, but the critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and creativity that will set them apart in the industry.
