178th Commencement

Lycoming College’s 178th Commencement ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2026, will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. In a time-honored tradition, graduating students will pass through the Oliver Sterling Metzler Gate — the only time that students are permitted to walk through the gate — as they process toward Commencement exercises on the Fultz Quadrangle.

Families wishing to book accommodation for the event are encouraged to do so early. Information on local accommodations may be found at: https://www.lycoming.edu/about-lycoming/accommodations.aspx.

Commencement 2026 will be held outdoors on the Fultz Quadrangle, and guests are encouraged to dress appropriately. Those unable to attend may watch the ceremony via livestream. A link will be posted here two weeks before the ceremony.
