178th Commencement

Lycoming College’s 178th Commencement ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2026, will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. In a time-honored tradition, graduating students will pass through the Oliver Sterling Metzler Gate — the only time that students are permitted to walk through the gate — as they process toward Commencement exercises. Due to inclement weather, Commencement 2026 will be held indoors in the Keiper Recreation Center. Doors for general seating will open at 12 p.m. This year's Commencement speaker will be executive leader, clinical neurologist, and pioneer in pharmaceutical research Lynn Kramer '72.

Those unable to attend may watch the ceremony via livestream.
