Residency Policy

Given the nature and role of residential housing at Lycoming College, College housing is limited to students who will attain the age of 18 by the end of their first semester and are not older than 24 year of age at the time of enrollment, absent extenuating circumstances requiring accommodations as determined by the College.

Additionally, the College does not provide married or family style housing.

Minors (students who are under 18 years of age at time of completion of Housing Agreement) must print, sign and return the Housing Agreement Parent/Guardian Signature Form to the Residential Life Office.

Lycoming College requires all full-time, traditional college age (18-22) students to live in college housing and participate in the College’s meal plan each semester of the academic year that they are enrolled. Married students, students residing with their parents within a 40 mile radius, students living with their dependents, and students 23 years or older may request to be exempted from this policy. Such requests should be submitted to the Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students at least three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester that students are requesting permission to live off campus.
