Studio Art

The studio art major is designed for students seeking teaching certification in art. It prepares students for Pennsylvania State Certification to teach art K-12, and includes a broad range of studio, art history, and education courses. Our graduates are teaching art across the country. Students interested in art therapy also choose the generalist concentration, usually combined with a major or minor in psychology to prepare for a graduate school program in art therapy.
