Lara graduated from Lycoming College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in history. Prior to returning to Lycoming, Lara worked in event management at the historic Community Arts Center (formerly the Capitol Theater) in Williamsport. She returned to campus in 2015 to manage the College Archives in Snowden Library. Before transitioning into her current role, Lara served the College as the associate director of annual giving. She lives in Loyalsock with her family and their rescue dog, Indiana Bones.

Katie graduated from Lycoming College in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an english literature minor. She returned to campus in May 2023 as an annual giving officer, focusing on engagement with GOLD (graduate of the last decade) alumni. Prior to returning to Lycoming, Katie worked in staffing and recruiting for KFORCE in Hartford, CT. She lives in Williamsport with her husband, Joe '20, their cat, Ginnie, and their golden retriever, Georgia.

The Class of 2024 Senior Gala

The Class of 2024, in conjunction with the Office of Student Life, is delighted to invite the Class of 2024 to this formal event in celebration of your years of dedication at Lycoming College. Join your friends and classmates as you dance the night away!
This event is open to all members of the senior class who are approved to walk at Commencement on May 11, 2024 and one guest per eligible senior. Cost is $5 per senior and $15 per guest. Ticket includes admission, hors d’oeuvres, alcoholic & nonalcoholic beverages. All guests must be 21 with a valid, state issued ID to consume alcohol.
Tickets are on sale now! Please email seniorclass@lycoming.edu to request your tickets through April 12.

Class of 2024 Senior Gift
For more than 75 years, the Lycoming College graduating class has left a legacy through a class gift. In addition to permanently enhancing the campus community, a collective gift demonstrates our gratitude for the opportunities and experiences that have prepared us for bright futures following graduation.
We are excited to have our class gift support the continued enhancement of outdoor gathering spaces on campus. We are thrilled to announce the 2024 Senior Class gift will install campus-wide hammock gardens. Strategically located around campus, these permanent structures will allow students, faculty, and staff to enjoy the great outdoors while relaxing, studying, or socializing. Clusters of hammocks are planned for the following locations: The Upper Quad, Skeath Patio, Class of ’21 Patio, the rear of Crever & Wesley Halls, and the Commons Yard (in conjunction with the construction of the new Class of ’23 Patio). Senior Week 2024
All seniors eligible to walk at Commencement 2024 on May 11 are eligible to participate in Lycoming College Annual Senior Week celebrations, May 6-10, 2024. Seniors may register online between April 1-25. Please see your email from Dean Miller for registration instructions. Information on housing will come from Residence Life. All guests must bring a valid form of government-issued identification to imbibe.
No late registrations will be accepted past April 25, 2024.

Field Day and Picnic Lunch
11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Intramural Field
The Senior Class Officers invite you to a picnic lunch and an afternoon outdoors playing and enjoying activities including corn hole, badminton, and more! Music and giveaways will make this BYOB an afternoon to remember.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held in Lamade Gymnasium.

Enjoy pizza, beer, and seltzers with your classmates on the Freet Plaza.
In the event of inclement weather, this party will be held in the East Hall Coffee House.
Commencement 2024
Lycoming College’s 176th Commencement ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2024, will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024. In a time-honored tradition, graduating students will pass through the Oliver Sterling Metzler Gate — the only time that students are permitted to walk through the gate — as they process toward Commencement exercises on the Fultz Quadrangle.
We strongly encourage you to book your accommodations early, as they are expected to sell out due to other regional events May 10-12.
For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, we look forward to offering access to the celebration virtually.
