Lara graduated from Lycoming College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in history. Prior to returning to Lycoming, Lara worked in event management at the historic Community Arts Center (formerly the Capitol Theater) in Williamsport. She returned to campus in 2015 to manage the College Archives in Snowden Library. Before transitioning into her current role, Lara served the College as the associate director of annual giving. She lives in Loyalsock with her family and their rescue dog, Indiana Bones.

Susan graduated from Lycoming College in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in economics. Prior to returning to Lycoming, Susan worked in retail management for 22 years at American Eagle Outfitters. She returned to campus in 2021 as the annual giving officer and currently serves as the associate director of annual giving, focusing on reunion giving, parent giving, and director of the Warriorthon calling program. She lives near her family and friends in Muncy.
Senior Gift
For nearly 80 years, the Lycoming College graduating class has left a legacy through a class gift. In addition to permanently enhancing the campus community, a collective gift demonstrates our gratitude for the opportunities and experiences that have prepared us for bright futures following graduation.

All seniors eligible are invited to participate in Lycoming College's the Annual Beer & Pretzel Tent at Homecoming!
Registration is required. Information on registration will be forthcoming. Please email seniorclass@lycoming.edu with questions.

Fultz Quadrangle
Make plans to attend the event that kicks Homecoming into high gear! Gather with new and old friends to fill your glass with beverages brewed by talented Lycoming alumni, including Bald Birds, Yuengling, and Tröegs beers, while noshing on pretzels. This event is open to all alumni, alumni guests, and family members. A friendly reminder that smoking, vaping, and animals are not permitted at this event.
$25 per senior
Advance registration is required.
Please note: Parents or friends may not register their student(s) for this event. Eligible members of the Class of 2027 (age 21 and over) must register in person. No underclassmen are permitted in the tent. We appreciate your understanding.This event is invitation only through the Office of Alumni Relations. Emails will be sent directly to eligible seniors.
All guests must bring a valid form of government-issued identification to imbibe.
Commencement 2027
Lycoming College’s 179th Commencement ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2027, will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2027. In a time-honored tradition, graduating students will pass through the Oliver Sterling Metzler Gate — the only time that students are permitted to walk through the gate — as they process toward Commencement exercises on the Fultz Quadrangle.
We strongly encourage you to book your accommodations early, as they are expected to sell out due to other regional events May 8-10.
For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, we look forward to offering access to the celebration virtually.
