Lara graduated from Lycoming College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in history. Prior to returning to Lycoming, Lara worked in event management at the historic Community Arts Center (formerly the Capitol Theater) in Williamsport. She returned to campus in 2015 to manage the College Archives in Snowden Library. Before transitioning into her current role, Lara served the College as the associate director of annual giving. She lives in Loyalsock with her family and their rescue dog, Indiana Bones.

Susan graduated from Lycoming College in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in economics. Prior to returning to Lycoming, Susan worked in retail management for 22 years at American Eagle Outfitters. She returned to campus in 2021 as the annual giving officer and currently serves as the associate director of annual giving, focusing on reunion giving, parent giving, and director of the Warriorthon calling program. She lives near her family and friends in Muncy.

For nearly 80 years, the Lycoming College graduating class has left a legacy through a class gift. Senior Week 2026 Events

All seniors eligible to participate in Commencement are invited to participate in Lycoming College's annual Senior Week celebrations, May 4-8, 2026. All guests must bring a valid form of government-issued identification to imbibe. Registration is  may register online between April 1-30No registrations will be accepted after April 30. Please email seniorclass@lycoming.edu with questions.

 

MONDAY, MAY 4

Class of 2026 Senior Donor Brunch with President Edmonds
Honors Hall
Seniors who make a gift of $50 or more to the Senior Class Gift will receive an invitation to this event in their email that provides instructions on how to register.
This event is invitation only through the Office of Alumni Relations. Emails will be sent directly to eligible seniors.

Intramural Field (In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held in the Keiper Recreation Center.)
The Senior Class Officers invite you to a picnic lunch and an afternoon outdoors playing and enjoying activities, including corn hole, badminton, and more! Music and giveaways will make this BYOB an afternoon to remember. 
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Manhunt
The Fultz Quad (In the event of inclement weather, this event will be moved to Wednesday night.)
Get ready for the biggest game of Manhunt your class has ever seen, as the Class of 2026 takes over campus for an evening of outdoor fun and bragging rights!

WEDNESDAY, MAY 6

1 p.m.             
Brewery Tour
Bus departs from the entrance to the Keiper Recreation Center
Cost is $10 per person (cash only), and you must pre-register in person in the student engagement suite on the 3rd floor of Wertz April 1 to 30.  This event will sell out; register promptly!
Hop on the bus and get ready for a Senior Week field trip with stops planned at Bald Birds (owned by alumnus Joe Feerrar ’02) and New Trail. We’ll enjoy complimentary snacks mid-afternoon, and will return to the College around 5:30 p.m.  You are responsible for paying for your own drinks.

Class of 2026 Champagne Toast with President Edmonds
Founders Plaza, Upper Quad (In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held in Snowden Library.)
President Edmonds invites you to a new Senior Week tradition as we raise a glass to the Class of 2026. Celebrate this milestone with members of the faculty in a festive gathering that honors your accomplishments, reflects on your Lycoming journey, and looks ahead to all that awaits. This champagne toast marks both an ending and a beginning, an elegant moment to be recognized, celebrated, and welcomed into the alumni community.

Don’t miss this epic send-off — good vibes, great music, and plenty of fun guaranteed!

The Warrior Bike Shop will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Senior Week from 12 to 3 p.m.

 

Commencement 2026

Lycoming College’s 178th Commencement ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2026, will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026. In a time-honored tradition, graduating students will pass through the Oliver Sterling Metzler Gate — the only time that students are permitted to walk through the gate — as they process toward Commencement exercises on the Fultz Quadrangle. 

We strongly encourage you to book your accommodations early, as they are expected to sell out due to other regional events May 8-10.

For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, we look forward to offering access to  the celebration virtually.
