On-campus housing is functional but offers minimal amenities. Bed linens (fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow case), a thermal blanket, bath towel, hand towel and washcloth are provided. You must bring your pillow. Lamps, nightlights and clothes hangers are not furnished; if you need them, please bring them with you. Beds are extra-long twin beds. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that checkout time is 11 a.m. on Sunday. All rooms must be vacated by this time, and keys must be returned to the Burchfield Lounge before you leave campus.
If you arrive after 9 p.m. on Friday night, after 12 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, please pick up your registration packet and key in the Public Safety Office in the garden level of Rich Hall. Please note that there are no telephones in the residence halls. In the case of an emergency, Public Safety is open 24 hours a day and can be reached at 570.321.4064.
The cost of housing for the weekend is $80 per person. This cost is reduced to $70 per person for GOLD alumni (graduates of the last decade). The fee covers Friday night (check in no earlier than 3 p.m.) through Sunday morning (checkout time no later than 11 a.m.) You are welcome to spend only one night on campus, but the rate does not change.
Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served, basis. Exceptions are made to accommodate guests with special needs and to maximize the number of alumni we can house.
Tips for reserving specific rooms: Register early! The college will take roommate/suitemate requests through registration and will do our best to accommodate them, but early registration by all members of the group is the best way to ensure your requests.
