Lycoming College invites the Williamsport community to enjoy a free show in its Detwiler Planetarium on Friday, March 3. The show, which is part of Williamsport First Friday, will begin at 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

At this particular time of year, we can look up and watch some strange objects with rather unusual aspects parade across the night sky. March’s planetarium show is a tour of some tantalizing sky objects for night observers that are visible each year in March, and a telling of the odd stories behind them.

Free tickets can be reserved through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/first-friday-planetarium-show-tickets-537788268187 beginning Friday, Feb. 24. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m. and seating is first come, first seated. The planetarium is located in the Lynn Science Center on the corner of Washington Boulevard and Mulberry Street.
