Lecturer of English
Shanna Wheeler manages the Writing Center, non-math subject tutoring, and supplemental instruction (formal study groups); teaches English composition, technical communication, and first-year seminars; and provides instructional and administrative support for the college-wide Writing Program.
Native to Mill Hall, PA, Mrs. Wheeler holds a B.A. in creative writing from Susquehanna University and an M.F.A. in English from Penn State University. She has published a chapbook of poetry (Lo & Behold, Finishing Line Press, 2009) and a full-length poetry collection (Evensong for Shadows, Resource Publications/Wipf and Stock Publishers, 2018). Her poetry was selected to appear in the anthology Keystone Poets (Penn State University Press, forthcoming 2025).
