Alternative Spring Break

March 8-14, 2020

Make your spring break a memorable one by personally impacting communities and lives! Whether you’re a veteran volunteer or new to volunteering, join Lycoming’s Alternative Spring Break for a totally new experience. Immerse yourself in opportunities that meaningfully connect you to new cultures and communities. Challenge yourself to examine your own lived experiences, while exploring life from new perspectives.

Service related travel options include both national and international experiences:

  • Habitat for Humanity. Assist with rebuilding homes and communities across the United States.
  • Youth Service Opportunities Project. Visit either New York City or Washington, D.C., to explore what hunger and homeless look like in urban communities.
  • Dominican Republic. Work, live, and teach alongside the community members of the Las Terrenas community for an international education experience.
