Comprised of undergraduate-created poetry and prose, Lycoming College’s student-run literary journal, The Tributary, announced the release of its Spring 2025 national issue, which is the third issue they have released on a national scale. The issue can be accessed free of charge at www.thetributaryjournal.com.

The Tributary is an online literary journal that publishes works from Lycoming College students in the fall issue and works from a national undergraduate pool in the spring issue. Submissions are now accepted through email, as well as through the Submission Grinder platform. The journal offers pro-rate payments for works accepted in the national issue.

The following undergraduate students are featured in the Spring 2025 issue:

  • Hazel Beuker – University of New Hampshire
  • Madeline Chandler – Linfield University
  • M. Hronich – Rutgers University
  • Logan Edwards – University of Mary Washington
  • Danielle Slater – University of New Hampshire

“The final product is a collection of poetry, non-fiction, and fiction that ranges from traditional form to modernist. Our contributors discuss the nostalgia, music, and freedom that stems from every part of their daily lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journal as we continue to grow and showcase more and more undergraduate art. Thank you to our diction editor, Caylin, for providing a photograph from her senior art show to be the cover of this issue.” – Letter from the managing editor

Managing editor, Aiden Brown ’25 was supported by the rest of the editorial team, who worked alongside Pheobe Wagner, Ph.D., assistant professor of English, to edit and assemble the issue. Fiction/creative-non-fiction editors included Gray Kishbaugh ’26, Caylin Dimisa ’25, Jordan Ohmann ’25, and Chase Bower ‘26. Poetry editors included Sarah Lanphear ’25 and Sara Van Reymersdal ’27. With Brown graduating, Bower will take over as managing editor in the fall.
