Lycoming College has landed strong marks across the nation's most-watched college rankings for 2027, reinforcing what its students and alumni already know: a Lycoming degree pays off. New recognition from U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review, and Money magazine points to the College's academic quality, affordability, and its power to move students forward.
In the 2027 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, Lycoming placed No. 100 among National Liberal Arts Colleges and No. 96 on the Top Private Colleges list. The College also secured a spot at No. 24 for Best Value Schools, a ranking that weighs academic quality against the true cost of attendance after financial aid.

The College also held firm at No. 5 in the nation for Top Performers on Social Mobility, a distinction that reflects Lycoming's long-standing commitment to opening doors for high-need, high-potential students.
U.S. News has published its Best Colleges rankings annually since 1983 to help prospective students and their families compare undergraduate programs across the country. The 2027 edition evaluated more than 1,700 U.S. colleges and universities using up to 17 factors that measure academic quality and graduate success.
The Princeton Review named Lycoming to its Best 392 Colleges list, continuing a run of consecutive multi-year recognition. Students also ranked Lycoming No. 6 in the country for Most Politically Moderate Students, a nod to the College's culture of respectful dialogue across differences.
Rounding out the accolades, Money magazine awarded Lycoming a 3.5-star rating on its Best Colleges in America list, citing the College's affordability and its track record of strong outcomes for graduates.
