Call for Entry: No Entry Fee

Lycoming College Downtown Art Gallery

Deadline: July 5, 2022

The Lycoming College Art Gallery, located in downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking submissions for our upcoming exhibition, PRIDE, opening July 29, 2022.

Thanks to ongoing activism of the LGBTQIA+ community, the term “pride” is now synonymous with month-long celebrations of queer life and advocacy for equal rights around the world. Using pride as its framing concept, this exhibition will highlight the work of queer artists, providing a safe space and platform to engage with their work. We seek submissions from artists whose work draws from the lived experience of being queer in its myriad of forms. This may include, but is not limited to, those that challenge binaries and biases of gender and sexuality, expose systemic inequalities, and explore and/or celebrate queer life. We are interested in all types of work, especially those that utilize non-traditional processes or approach traditional materials in unconventional ways.

Entries will be accepted through July 5, 2022. PRIDE will open July 29, 2022 and run through September 2, 2022. For more information on the gallery, visit:
