His previously performed roles include Giles Corey from The Crucible, Bardolfo from Falstaff and both Father Confessor and Chevalier de la Force in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites. He has also partially performed roles such as Ruggero in La rondine, Ferrando in Così fan tutte and Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni with the Penn State Opera Theatre.

While with IPAI in Bavaria, Nic was awarded 3rd place in an annual aria competition. He has collaborated in concert with the Penn State Early Music Ensemble multiple times and performed at events such as a Military Honor Cord Ceremony and a Lunar New Year Concert. He is proud to have recently interpreted Ralph Vaughan Williams’s cycle On Wenlock Edge and presented research on Spanish composer Fermín María Álvarez as part of his two Master’s capstone projects. Nic was also awarded Best Overall Singer in Penn State’s SingOut! competition, and he performed in the finalists’ concert during the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Chapter NATS competition.

Nic’s experience as a teacher includes teaching stylistically diverse lessons, group voice classes, teaching masterclasses, and adjudicating regional NATS competitions. In addition to his undergraduate studio at Lycoming College, Nic maintains a private voice studio at his home in State College.
