Clinical Supervisor

John is a native of Williamsport. He retired from the Williamsport Area School District after 19 years of service and 27 years in public education. Prior to education, John worked in the business sector after earning his B.A. in Business Administration from Lycoming College in 1986. He counseled new and transfer students in the Admissions Office at Lycoming College and returned to the classroom earning his Elementary Education Teaching Certificate.

John taught in several county school districts (Muncy, South Williamsport and Williamsport) in various grade levels. He earned his Master in Education degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University and Educational Leadership from Penn State University. Besides teaching in the Williamsport Area School District, John also held positions as Assistant Principal at Stevens Elementary School, Assistant Principal at Lycoming Valley Middle School, Principal of Jackson Elementary School and Supervisor of Elementary Curriculum K-6 and Supervisor of Gifted Education K-6.

John has a high interest in the area of assessment. He enjoys collaborating with new teachers and looks forward to his impact on future teachers and classrooms.
