Associate Professor of Psychology
Sue Beery earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in children and families from the University of Miami (Florida). Her research and clinical interests include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other disruptive behavior disorders in children and adolescents, psychological evaluation/diagnosis of children and adolescents, prevention/early intervention for children with psychological difficulties, family therapy issues, and helping parents and schools better meet the educational and mental health needs of children and adolescents with Learning Disabilities and emotional/behavioral problems. Dr. Beery teaches Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Learning Differences, Behavior Modification, and Clinical Practicum.
