LYCOMING WOMEN’S LACROSSE COMPLETES SEASON

MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team traveled to FDU-Florham, Saturday afternoon, for their final game of the season. The Warriors posted 10 goals, but struggled defensively falling by a final score of 19-10. Lycoming completes the season with an overall record of 5-10, while the Devils improve to 5-11.

Lauren Evangelist (Sr./Perkiomenville, Pa.; Boyertown) led the Warriors with five goals and one assist. Her five goals give her 72 for the season, setting a new Lycoming record – surpassing the previous mark of 69 set in 2000 by Brenda MacPhail. Kristen Dart (Jr./Saratoga, N.Y.; Saratoga Springs) added three goals and Ashley Rowe (Jr./Fairfax, Va.; W. T. Woodson) scored twice for the Warriors.

Laurie Rooney (Sr./Audubon, N.J.; Audubon) made four saves in goal.
