Digital Media (Film and Video Arts)
If you are interested in traditional filmmaking including narrative or documentary filmmaking, 2D animation, motion graphics, or video art and installation video, then this is the program for you.
The Digital Media Program (Film and Video Arts) in the Department of Communication can help you build the skills needed to make creative films. The curriculum covers film and video production courses that help you create interesting films, while art and design courses help you develop your talents in photography, graphic and commercial design.
Digital media courses embedded in your Lycoming liberal arts education is a smart combination. Just ask Amanda Vicari, production assistant for the HBO Documentary, "Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden," or Bart Makatche, executive producer at Nancy Glass Productions (Animal Planet, Fix This Yard, Kitchen Impossible).
Some of our students’ work may contain sensitive content, and is therefore recommended for mature audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
