Fall 2011 Textbooks Information

  • Fall 2011 Buyback: Monday, December 12th – Friday, December 16th, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Beginning July 05, 2011, you may begin placing online orders for textbooks for Fall 2011. NOTE: The last day to place online orders will be August 13, 2011.
  • Pre-Orders are for Pick-Up only. No orders will be shipped.
  • Payment methods include MasterCard, Visa and Student Accounts. There will be no cash sales or holds.
  • Orders can be picked up beginning August 26, 2011. Early arrivals are encouraged to place online orders. Pick-Up location to be determined.

First Weekend Hours

  • Friday, August 26th; 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 27th; 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 28th; 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Who is Dorothy J. Streeter?

Dorothy J. Streeter was the manager of Lycoming College's first bookstore, which was set up in August of 1946. Dorothy graduated from Lycoming College in 1934. She worked at the college for 35 years, before retiring in 1981. That same year, President Blumer announced that the store would be named for Mrs. Streeter, and the name has stayed since then. She now resides at the Williamsport Home.
