Investigate the possibility of life beyond Earth during two shows in Lycoming College’s Detwiler Planetarium on June 2 as part of Williamsport First Friday. The free shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. and are open to the public.

This month’s show examines the ever-popular question — does life exist in the universe beyond the Earth? The audience will begin by embarking on a journey across our solar system to the most likely places where life could take hold. They will then travel beyond the Milky Way to learn about exoplanets light years away and the profound implications they may have.

Free tickets are available that evening starting at 5 p.m. outside the planetarium. Seating is first come, first seated. The planetarium is located in the Lynn Science Center on the corner of Washington Blvd. and Mulberry St.
