Saturday, May 4

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon Senior Check-In - Long Hall Lobby

Seniors may pick up their caps, gowns, hoods, rain tickets, and keys for the residence hall. The Business Office will be open to receive payments for remaining bills. If you arrive after 12:00 noon, you may pick up your cap and gown, and sign the wooden "13" class numbers at the reception area in Long Hall until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday; and from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Late arrivals may pick up room keys in the Office of Safety & Security.

12:00 Noon Practice for Commencement - Recreation Center

Seniors are expected to attend this practice, unless excused by Dr. Robert Larson, Faculty Marshal.

12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Mail Room Open

12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Picnic for Seniors

Senior Picnic will be held on the patio/lawn on south side of Pennington Lounge. All graduating seniors are invited to attend. Rain Location: Pennington Lounge.

1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Career Development Center, Wertz Student Center

Staff is available to assist with last-minute career search needs.

1:00 to 4:00 p.m. College Bookstore Open
Graduation flowers will be available for purchase.

3:20 p.m. Photos of Summa Cum Laude Graduates

Photos will be taken at the Flag Court. Please meet to have your photo taken with President Douthat. Rain location is the upper level of the Recreation Center, near the concession area.

3:40 p.m. Baccalaureate Line-up in Lamade Gym

Graduates will assemble in Lamade Gym dressed in caps and gowns.

4:00 p.m. Baccalaureate - Recreation Center

The service is an ecumenical celebration in honor of the graduating class. The Lycoming College Choir and Band will provide special music. The service is open to the families and friends of the senior class and the general public. No tickets are necessary.

8:00 p.m. Lycoming College Choir Concert

Clarke Chapel. No tickets are necessary, all are welcome to enjoy the concert.

Sunday, May 5

9:00 a.m. Graduation Mass

St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Boulevard.

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Campus Store Open

Graduation flowers are available for purchase.

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Brunch

Brunch will be served in the College Dining Room, Wertz Student Center.
Parents and families of graduating seniors, faculty, staff, and administration will be guests of the College.

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Mail Room Open

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Senior Art Exhibit

Art Gallery, Snowden Library. Visit the Gallery to view and enjoy the senior projects.

11:30 a.m. Commencement Line-up for Graduates - Pennington Lounge

If weather is favorable, Commencement will be held on the Quad. Seniors are asked to assemble promptly in Pennington Lounge. In case of inclement weather, Commencement will be held in The Recreation Center.

12:00 p.m. Carillon Concert on the Quad

Rain location: The Recreation Center

12:30 p.m. Lycoming College Concert Band on the Quad

Rain location: The Recreation Center

1:00 p.m. Ceremonial Opening of the Gates and Processional for Commencement

The Oliver Sterling Metzler Gates are opened only once a year for Commencement. The Senior Class will walk through the gates in a processional to the Quad.

3:00 p.m. Post-Commencement Reception on the Quad

Graduates and families are invited to attend a light reception under the tents. Rain Location: Lamade Gymnasium.

3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Senior Check-Out - Crever Hall

Seniors return residence hall keys and may sign the wooden "13" class numbers to be hung in the Wertz Student Center.
