Research: Environmental, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Education Past projects include the quantification of heavy metals such as
Pb and
Hg in environmental samples via atomic absorption
spectrophotometry, and studies of the thermodynamics of carcinogen
binding to coal fly ash via inverse gas chromatography. Current
projects include synthesis of novel metalla-carborane multi-decker
sandwich compounds, capillary electrophoresis, and chemical
education, particularly chemical demonstrations.
