Senior director of sales, Apple
After earning a business degree from Lycoming, I worked for a couple of software companies before getting hired at a start-up company, Adobe Systems. After 11 years in sales at Adobe, I had a desire for a new opportunity and began working at Apple.
I now manage a sales team responsible for more than a billion dollars of Apple's current revenue. I have seen the launch of the iPod, iPhone and iPad and I've been able to witness Apple become a hundred billion dollar company.
At Lycoming, former Professor Elizabeth King, who taught accounting and finance, made me read the Wall Street Journal every day and asked questions about it. Looking back, I realize how important it was that she challenged me.
