Philosophy gives you the opportunity to think about questions that occur as you pursue other majors. We offer courses directly relevant to students majoring in accounting, archaeology, biology, business, criminal justice, education, international relations, mathematics, physics, political science, psychology and religion.
Our curriculum is flexible and you can combine a major or minor in philosophy with a major in any other subject. If you choose to pursue philosophy as a minor, or as a second major, it will deepen your liberal arts education while preparing you for your career.
Students interested in teacher certification should refer to the Department of Education.
