Indexes critical literary and language scholarship and provides access to journals and serials published worldwide, as well as books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies. Nearly 45,000 records are added annually.
EssayGenLit
Cites essays and articles contained in collections of essays and other works published in the U.S., Great Britain and Canada. Also indexed are more than 20 annual and serial publications. Includes full bibliographic information for the titles in which the collected works are found. Focuses on humanities and social sciences literature.
Academic Search Elite
This multi-disciplinary database offers full text for more than 2,050 scholarly journals, including more than 1,500 peer-reviewed titles. Covering virtually every area of academic study, Academic Search Elite offers full text information dating as far back as 1985.
MagillOnLiterature Plus
This database is composed of approximately 35,000 critical analyses of individual works of literature, 6,500 biographical records, more than 1,000 images, and a glossary of 1,310 literary terms. MagillOnLiterature Plus contains editorially reviewed critical essays, brief plot summaries, extended character profiles, and detailed setting discussions covering works by more than 8,500 long and short fiction writers, poets, dramatists, essayists, and philosophers. The biographical essays reflect extended coverage of the 2,500 most studied authors and include up-to-date lists of each author’s principal works and current secondary bibliographies. In addition, 395 comprehensive genre-driven overview essays provide details about important literary genres, time periods, and national literatures.
Literature Resource Center
Provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline. Combining Gale Group's core literary databases in a single online service, the Literature Resource Center covers more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors.

Provides access to digital, full text archives of core journals in discipline areas including Arts & Sciences I, II, and III, Business, and Language & Literature. Users can search or browse in more than one discipline and multiple journals or in just a single issue.
JSTOR strives to provide an entire run of each title starting with volume one, issue one back to the early 1800s. JSTOR delays inclusion of digital articles anywhere from three to five years previous to the most recently published volumes.
Project MUSE
An online collection of scholarly journal titles in the arts, humanities and social sciences from university and society presses. Snowden Library subscribes to the Basic Undergraduate Collection, a 112 title subset of the full Project MUSE collection.
ARTstor
ARTstor is a rich digital library that will offer coherent collections of art images and descriptive information as well as the software tools to enable active use of the collections. The ARTstor Library's initial content will include approximately 300,000 images covering art, architecture and archaeology.
AHSearch
The online equivalent of ISI's Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Provides complete indexing for many of the world's leading arts and humanities journals in a broad range of disciplines. Also includes individually selected, relevant items from thousands of the world's leading science and social sciences journals.
Biography Resource Center
Combines over 400,000 biographies on nearly 315,000 people from more than 760 volumes of over 100 respected Gale Group.
