Turnitin is an online resource for educators and students concerned with developing quality, original writing. Turnitin prevents and detects plagiarism by comparing submitted papers to billions of pages of content located on the Internet and in Turnitin's proprietary databases. The results of the comparisons are compiled in custom "Originality Reports."

NOTE: If you are a student setting up a new account and it tells you that your email is already associated with an existing account, please use the "Forgot your password? Click here" link to reset your password. You probably used Turnitin through Moodle in a previous class and it set up an account for you with a random password.
