The Lycoming College Business Department has compiled a list of twenty travel tips that apply specifically to Oxford, England, and the Internship Program that was created for Lycoming students in England. All of these practical tips offer valuable insight into the kinds of challenges that you might face in your study abroad experience.

    • also contains information about how to get airline tickets, student ids
    • searchable directory of each type of travel abroad, (i.e. study, teach, work), can search by country or subject, not keyword
    • gives summary, highlights, costs and links to website for each program

    • information about study abroad, discount airfare, has discussion forum
    • detailed information on each country-climate, culture, government, etc.
    • searchable directory-can search by country, language, subject area, etc., can search within country for subject area
    • summaries of programs not very detailed, but does give email address of each program

    • information about specific program in field of study
    • need to register a profile to use some aspects of website, its free, after you register it will use your profile to help find programs, also allows you to save searches
    • searchable directory, can search by country and field of study, or use detailed search-housing options, cost range, duration of stay, etc.
    • results give summary and links to programs

    • has college search-can search with drop-down menus or by keyword
    • course centre-learn about pros and cons of study abroad in your field, helps you find a field
