Transfer Applicants

A streamlined college transfer application process, consideration for generous transfer scholarships worth up to $30,000, and a place in a community that has welcomed so many transfer students before are among the many things you can expect as a transfer student at Lycoming. In fact, one in 15 of our incoming students each year is a transfer student, meaning you won’t be alone in the process.

Lycoming College Transfer Requirements

To get you started on transitioning to the Warrior way of life, we’ll need:

  • An online application using one of the following: Common Application and the Coalition Application
  • Official transcript(s) from each institution attended (and, if you have less than 24 college credits, a copy of your high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores)
  • Transferring Student Admission Report (TSAR)
  • Personal essay — Walk us through your educational journey and tell us why you want to join the Lycoming College community

Start your application now by clicking one of the application options below. We look forward to reviewing it!

Looking for another option? You can also use the Lycoming Online Application.

When evaluating your official transcript, we'll help you get the maximum credit. We want you to get the most out of the work you've already put in. Learn more about transferring credits.

Transfer Partnerships

Lycoming College welcomes transfer students from all institutions and is dedicated to helping them create a clear pathway to obtaining a bachelor's degree. Our official partnerships with the following institutions can help make the transition to a four-year program even easier:

Reading Area Community College (RACC)

This agreement enhances the transferability between RACC’s Associate of Arts degree in Social Science and Liberal Arts to one of Lycoming’s Bachelor of Arts programs.

Lackawanna College

This agreement enhances the transferability between Lackawanna College’s Associate in Science degrees in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, and Human Services, and the Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies to one of Lycoming’s Bachelor of Arts programs. Students who meet transfer requirements will enter the program with junior (third-year) status.
