| Theatre |
You may have had a passion for the
theatre as a young child, or you may have discovered theatre with your
first college course. Either way, you’re hooked. In your first play
production course, you find yourself painting sets, sewing costumes and
plotting lighting. You’ll begin your journey through centuries of
dramatic art.
A theatre major at Lycoming College studies the art and literature of
drama as well as practical theatrical production. You can choose to have
an emphasis in Acting, Directing or Design/Tech. One of the goals of the
department is to develop individuals who are well versed in all areas of
theatre
