Few college programs prepare you for so
many different career opportunities as a major in Psychology. Lycoming
graduates are working as teachers, psychologists, psychotherapists,
researchers, ministers, guidance counselors, drug and alcohol
counselors, social workers, and youth program directors. The strength of
Lycoming’s Psychology program is the breadth of course work
offered--students are trained in both theoretical and applied
psychology. In addition, Lycoming is one of only 5% of colleges
nationwide which offers a lab section with the Introductory Psychology
class, allowing students to begin their research experience as early as
possible.
