Hometown: Sparta, N.J.

Major: Creative writing and archaeology

Activities: “I have been involved in many clubs during my time here. I have written for the Lycourier, served as president and founder of Cru, served as Fencing, Sigma Tau Delta and English Society vice president, participated in Ultimate Frisbee, worked as a writing tutor for the Writing Center and as a work-study student at the James V. Brown Library, and have been a major participant in events such as Medieval Lyco, Harry Potter Week and 'The Hunger Games.'”

Favorite Thing About Lycoming: “My favorite aspect of Lycoming is that forming relationships is a priority. I am not just a number here; my professors know me on a personal level and are committed to my future success. Working hard is acknowledged and encouraged, and professors are genuine about their love for their subjects. It is hard not to be enthusiastic about learning when surrounded by professors and peers of this caliber!”

Future Plans: “My plans for the future entail going to graduate school. I have been accepted to four universities in the United Kingdom: Winchester, Sheffield, Reading and York. I hope to gain an M.A. in Medieval Archaeology, then pursue my Ph.D. I would eventually like to work as a college professor and continue to publish and contribute to my field.”
