Most Influential Professor: I discovered that Dr. HC and I have a common interest in developmental reading.  She has encouraged me by suggesting relevant materials and books to further my study in the area of a reading specialist.

Favorite Part of Class: I am spending many worthwhile hours observing, interacting, using hands-on applications, and practicing what I am learning in my coursework at a local elementary school.  It has been rewarding and motivating to interact with students and learn from experienced teachers.

Getting Involved: Take advantage of the opportunities at Lycoming. For me, connecting with the Lycoming community has meant playing centerfield for the Warriors softball team, singing with the Lycoming Choir and performing Carmina Burana with the Lycoming Chamber Choir.

Advice: I recommend that you take the time to interact with and cultivate personal relationships with your professors.  They are supportive, caring and genuinely committed to helping me succeed.
