Jeff Moore majored in elementary education with a concentration in English, earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Clarion University. He began his teaching career at the Port Allegany School District and the Clearfield Alliance Christian School from 1982-1985. Jeff was hired as a fifth grade teacher in 1985 at the Clarion Area School District, and while teaching at Clarion Area School District from 1985-1995, he went on to earn his master's in education from Clarion University and his Elementary Principal’s certification from Westminster College. In August 1995, Jeff relocated with his family to Montoursville to assume the role of assistant principal of C. E. McCall Middle School at the Montoursville Area School District. In July 1996, he became principal of C.E. McCall Middle school and served in that role for 21 years until he retired from public education in June 2017.
Jeff taught at Lycoming College from 2005-2009 as an adjunct, the Pennsylvania Science Teacher’s Program, presented at PSTA and ASCD, as well as authored and taught “A Hands-On” Approach to Science, an approved PDE Inservice Course.
He is excited to give back to the teaching profession from his years of experience to help prepare young adults to enter the teaching profession.
