Lisa Mondell is the Career Advisor for the STEM Fields, which includes biology, chemistry, biochemistry, astronomy, physics, astrophysics, mathematics, neuroscience, and pre-medicine/pre-health. A native to the Williamsport area, Mondell graduated from Lycoming College in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then went on to earn a master’s in applied clinical psychology from Penn State Harrisburg and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Prior to returning to Lycoming College, the majority of her work has focused on counseling college students. In addition to working at Lycoming College, Mondell also works as a psychologist in a private counseling practice.
Mondell enjoys connecting with college students and working collaboratively with them to explore their presenting concerns. She is available to help students with career counseling, shadowing/externing at local hospitals, selecting a major, searching for job, research, internship opportunities, writing resumes and cover letters, and completing graduate school applications.
