Richard Mikula has a doctoral degree in mathematics from Rutgers University with a specialization in elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations. Mikula is a Philly native and has lived in central Pennsylvania since 2007. His recent pedagogical interests lie in actuarial science and statistics, and he has passed exams P and FM as offered by the Society of Actuaries.
