Fly Tying Clinic Series: We'll walk you through the process of tying your first flies for fly fishing. This is an art form that requires a lot of practice. Sign up for the whole series or just attend one class to learn what fly tying is all about. OLE will provide all of the tools and materials to help you start producing flies for the opening day of trout season in the spring. Catching a trout on one of your own flies is an amazing feeling!

Depart from campus at 5:00 am on the 7th and return late night on the 14th.

OLE Spring Break: We'll journey to Florida (warmer weather!) to canoe for 4 days on the beautiful waters of the Suwannee River; camping on the sandy beaches as we paddle down the river. Then, we'll head to Crystal Springs to snorkel with the Manatees seeking warmer water in the springs. This is sure to be a wonderful spring break adventure!

PADI Open Water SCUBA Certification: Be a Diver! Join us and get your PADI Open Water SCUBA certification! Diving is a thrilling experience; get certified to dive from an organization recognized around the world. The class will take place on Monday & Wednesday nights for 4 weeks in the Lycoming pool. We will teach you how to maintain and service your drivetrain, tune your shifting, and how to repair minor issues with your bike. Feel free to bring your personal bike for a tune-up. If you do not have a bike on campus, we'll provide a practice bike for you.

PADI Advanced Open Water: Already a PADI Open Water Diver? Increase your skills by becoming an Advanced Open Water Diver! This certification includes 5 dives to help you expand your underwater skills. You'll experience deep diving, hone in your buoyancy skills, learn more about underwater navigation, and pursue your interests through specialty dives that you choose. These dives will take place at Dutch Springs.

May 11, 2020 - June 1, 2020

OLE/BIO Grand Canyon May Term; Arid Lands Ecology: Explore and learn about the American Southwest! We will spend 10 days exploring and hiking through the Mojave Desert, Joshua Tree National Park, the red rock country of Sedona, Petrified Forest & Painted Forest National Park, and the Grand Canyon. After that, we'll journey to the bottom of the Grand Canyon to raft the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon for 5 days. Truly an unforgettable learning experience!
